Eve McGivern Excellent industrial dance noise that I had the pleasure to experience as spun by JT Whitfield in one of his DJ sets. Highly recommended if you love intense industrial with driving beats and lots of guitar and a hefty dose of psychedelic fuzz. RIYL White Suns, Wolf Eyes, and early Pankow.

Erin If you like industrial, do yourself the favor. Decay starts a slow build that really pays off, and Bath Salts is an immensely satisfying foot stomper. Favorite track: Decay.

Jon Excellent EP. Great rising momentum and power; terrific texture and mood. It's abrasive and really unpleasant in all the right ways. Bad News knows its influences and emulates them well, but this EP doesn't strike me as shallow retro re-hashing. I don't feel transported to an older time/space, so much as to an alternate, uncanny time and space. The length is also perfect; leaves me satisfied while excited to hear what they do next. Favorite track: Bath Salts.

about

New duo operating in the heavy industrial and noise zones, with an awareness of vivisect-era Skinny Puppy, incorporating guitar, synthesizers and drum machines writhing like mercury under sharp female vocals.
